Your data
Zuno stores your account, conversations, access periods and usage in its database. A private account does not require an email address; it is not a promise of anonymity. Your messages are processed by contracted model providers to generate responses. The beta uses Experiential Labs Uncensored models. This provider retains prompts and responses, including after deletion of an account or organization on its service; Zuno cannot promise their deletion or zero retention. Deletion deadlines below apply to the data controlled by Zuno. Do not submit sensitive third-party data during this beta.
Control and retention
Account settings let you export data, delete conversations, revoke sessions and request account deletion. Active personal data is removed within 24 hours of an account deletion request. Backups have a maximum 30-day retention. Usage and accounting records are separated from conversation content. Administrators cannot read your conversations through the administration panel.
Beta operation
The beta is invitation-only. Service availability, email recovery and external backups depend on configured operational services. Information on commercial billing and statutory retention will be updated before sales open. Contact the person who provided your invitation for beta support.
Temporary conversations and exports
Temporary conversations are excluded from normal history, search and whole-account exports. They do not read or create internal memories. Their absolute expiry is shown in the chat and cannot be extended by sending messages. Access stops at expiry; deletion runs every five minutes. Backups can retain earlier copies for up to 30 days; expired conversations are purged before a restoration is opened to users. Provider retention described above still applies. You can explicitly export a live conversation as Markdown, JSON, text or PDF; downloaded copies are under your control.
Web search
When enabled for your plan and selected by you, relevant queries are sent to the configured search provider (initially Tavily). Search results are untrusted external material, not instructions. Links shown as sources come from the search response. Search is disabled until its credential, usage cost and budget are configured and tested.
Protection and referrals
Zuno uses a signed first-party device cookie and hashed network identifiers to detect repeated registrations, authentication failures and unusual usage. Risk signals contain no conversation text and are retained for the configured period, initially 30 days. Restrictions are temporary and can be reviewed by an administrator; a shared IP alone is not a permanent ban. An optional CAPTCHA may process verification data with Cloudflare when configured and required. Referral links use a signed attribution cookie; approved affiliates see aggregate performance, never customer conversations or identities. Payout details are encrypted and only used for authorized payment operations. Billing and affiliate payout records remain separate from chat content.
Attachments and page reading
When enabled for your access, private files are checked and converted locally. Relevant text excerpts or normalized images are sent to the selected model provider; the provider-retention conditions above also apply. A response may use selected excerpts rather than the entire document. Originals, derived files and their search index follow the conversation retention; unused uploads expire within 24 hours. Administrators see file metadata and usage, not file contents. With web search enabled, requested public URLs and the relevant query may be sent to Tavily Extract. No account cookies or credentials are forwarded to that service.
Free public demo
When available, the free demo allows two messages without an account. Demo content lasts 24 hours; a minimal usage marker lasts 90 days without a daily reset. Signed cookies, limited device/network risk signals and Cloudflare Turnstile when required help limit abuse; clearing cookies can weaken this protection. Demo use does not create a paid subscription. The selected model provider processes submitted text and images under its retention conditions described above.
